Confusion around Day/Night switch utility and newer Dahua cameras

Yup, I tried this. I went into Customized scene (that's where I could add the schedule) and then flipped it to Day/Night but it wouldn't save and kept reverting back to day mode (when it was night). Reading more on here, it looks like it may be a flaw in the Dahua software and not have a...

Confusion around Day/Night switch utility and newer Dahua cameras

All cameras except for 1 show General. The last one shows “day” and it doesn’t matter how many times I click General and apply, it still doesn’t save.

Confusion around Day/Night switch utility and newer Dahua cameras

I’m on a Mac so using pale moon and Waterfox. I did make some settings changes in the NVR but the schedule is in the camera itself… I didn’t see the option for schedule in the empire tech NVR

Confusion around Day/Night switch utility and newer Dahua cameras

Yes I setup schedule and am adjusting in day mode settings and then again in night mode. Nothing is staying and it keeps reverting back to original settings. Even after I click apply 10 times.

Confusion around Day/Night switch utility and newer Dahua cameras

Did this ever stick? I’m having the same issue myself now but can’t get it to stick in Day or Night mode. I click “apply” but it’s like it never actually sticks….

Is this NVR selection satisfying? (Dahua or an alternative) ?

So if I’m understanding you correctly, since the Z4E isn’t using OCR, it’s functionally using VMD to capture the “Vehicle” driving by and then in the snapshot (hopefully) you can see the plate (which this can also be done using the Z12). Now the kicker here is if you manipulate the night...

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

You would use a port scanner on the PC to search the IP range of the camera that’s connected. Depending on which camera it could be setup as DHCP and take whatever IP the switch assigns it or if it’s setup as static right out of the box then you’d need to tell the computer what IP address range...

Day/night mode via HTTP for E541F-E2-AS

I found this thread (attached below) about utilizing HTTP requests to trip cameras into Day/Night mode but for some reason, I cannot seem to make the code work for the Empiretech E541F (AKA Boob cam)...I'm assuming it's since it's multi-channel but cant be positive. Has anybody had any luck...

    Blue Iris on Homekit

I’m running hoobs but can’t for the life of me figure out how to display the UI3 dashboard. Tried FFMPEG but didn’t work since I guess UI3 isn’t a technical RTSP stream. Did you manage to import a group or did you import each cameras RTSP stream individually?

Dual NIC setup keeps crashing network

@mikeynags It wouldn't let me leave the gateway empty and click "ok", I had to type something in...So I entered in the same IP as the computer and it worked out. Thanks @Sybertiger, after I confirmed mine looked almost identical to your setup, I went to the router logs like @SpacemanSpiff...

    UI3 very choppy

Cant seem to figure this out- On LAN & WAN, my UI3 streams without issue (not choppy, no delays, etc) on iPhone or Mac. But when I try to view with Raspberry Pi (using LAN), it's super choppy. Even when I'm out of the network, I can VPN in with iPad/iPhone/Mac and it is very smooth... Anybody...

Dual NIC setup keeps crashing network

Hi, I'm struggling to setup my new PC (Running on Win 11) for Blue Iris. I've decided to setup a Dual NIC solution but seem to have some of my settings wrong. Once I connect the NIC1 (which connects to my main router), it only takes about 30 minutes and my entire network goes down. If I...
