    Thanks for the advice. So, I'm just going to.. 1. disconnect the Netgear Pro Safe PoE switch from the router 2. restart it 3. Connect my laptop to the switch 4. Change laptops subnet to 172.x Then I'm wondering, how do I find the camera? I don't know the exact ip address? Really hope this...

    Really? I'll try that. The switch they are using is already connected to the 192.x router which is our network. Would that make a difference? So I just plug my laptop into the router, go to TCP/IP settings and change the address to 172.x.whatever? I didn't think I could do that without a router...

    So, we took over a building that has existing IP Cameras. My ip addresses are 192.xx I believe, the other cameras were set to 172.xx The 172.x cameras are showing power on my PoE switch. I really don't feel like climbing a ladder 4 times to reset the cameras. Does anyone have any ideas to reset...

    Hi! Thanks for the input. I disable UPnP on my router, thank you for that. I am using the same ip and port on the mobile app. So other than that, I think I am good to go. I don't mind loggin in to OpenVPN and then opening up BI on my mobile. It's just explaining that extra step to my biz...
