So I upgraded my BI the other day from 4 to 5. I am recording "Blue Iris DVR (BVR, allows reading while writing)" and when I go to review some of the recordings I'm getting an error that says, "Source file format is corrupt...Please use the default BVR recording format". What am I missing?
I'm not sure this is in the right forum but I think it is. With the help of IPcamtalk I have a blue iris system with 12 cameras up and running well on a very small college campus. Emptiretecandy also helped us get the cameras. I'm very happy for this setup and how it works.

I followed the video tutorial on setting up Stunnel with BI (by HomeTech Video). I have my firewall port forwarding WANAddress:8080 to forward to my BI at 10.1.15.5 but that's not the issue. I have stunnel installed and my stunnel.conf file has the "TLS client mode services" deleted as per...
I realize the snow changes the ambient light but the cameras have only been up a day now so these are the only conditions I've had so far. I'm curious to see how they work on cloudy nights vs starry nights too.
I am very impressed with the IPC-HDW2231R-ZS I got from Andy via Amazon. I just installed the first one last night. I bought a couple of cheap 1080P Faleemi FSC860 cameras on Amazon to do a "proof of concept" to get a feel for Blue Iris and setting up cameras before buying a lot of them to put...
I got a different computer and moved everything over. When I use BIT I get the WX to show up just fine but the CPU always says "N/A" on the video, however, the actual CPU usage does show down on the lower right of BI. I'm not sure why it's not pulling that info.
Any ideas?
Tnx

I am new to Blue Iris and security cams. I have ordered some cameras that will come in a few days but I have been playing with an old Trendnet IP camera I had laying around to get a feel for BI. I am running BI 4.8.5.0
When I go to camera settings the "max rate" is set to 21 fps. I change it...
