Turret Network Camera, "No Link" ???

I sent my camera to Hikvision for repair. They replaced the cable and sent it back; I now have traffic lights on the NVR and see the IR light on the camera itself. I tired the “Add IP Camera” option but none of the options (Refresh, One-touch Activate, Upgrade, One-touch Adding) adds the...

Turret Network Camera, "No Link" ???

There’s no IR lights. I like your 12-volt idea. Perhaps I could strip the ends off an RJ-45 and use a car battery, but I don’t know what wires power the IR. I believe this has a 3-year warranty; how do I go about a return to Hikvision?

Turret Network Camera, "No Link" ???

No, the traffic lights do not come on for the camera in question. I've tried a few pre-made RJ-45 cables.

Turret Network Camera, "No Link" ???

My turret network camera (model below) has stopped functioning. The error message from the NVR monitor is “No Link”. I first thought corrosion issues due to South Florida’s summer time high humidity. The outdoor connections looked fine, so I removed the camera from its outside mount and...

I initially set up my bullet and dome cam in my living room and both work. Yesterday, I got my first camera (bullet) installed over the garage. I appreciate the advice on spiders; believe I have 30 days to return it if need be. I drilled through the cement wall; the smallest hole possible; so I...

1 or 2 Camera Surveillance System Using Home Computer

Thank you for responding Zorac. After further consideration, I decided to buy a NVR and two cameras to start my security system (see below) and CAT5e cable for each camera. The vendor said if run cable from the NVR to my router, I can view the cameras via my computer or smart phone. Hikvision...
