As @kadkam says, disabling motion alarms in the Hik-connect / EZVIZ apps actually disables motion on the camera itself. Is this perhaps what caused your issue?

Based on that second image, you may want to turn WDR on too, under Configuration >> Image >> Backlight Settings when connecting via a web browser. It should solve your issues with the plant / the right of the scene in general.

The number of individual line rules you could create with your camera was reduced from 4 down to 1 in one of the v5.3.x firmware releases, or perhaps v5.4.0. The manual is a little out of date. Memory and performance optimisation was the reason given if I recall correctly.

Try reducing the capture Quality setting from High to Low for a test. This has been a problem in the past with timing captures.

Just to check, have you activated the camera? Your camera will come inactive and no longer has a default password If so, have you enabled H.264+ on the camera? Your NVR's firmware won't support it.

As I said - and as is also said in that thread - the issue also manifests itself with H.264+ when NOT using an NVR. Although I do suppose in that sense you're right in my assuming andy and Hikvision tested this scenario with a microSD card, NAS, VMS or other non-NVR recording method...
