Rekor Scout Price Increase to $10/Cam

I wasn’t thinking that use case. You’re right. Pulling images from different times of day is definitely valuable. I’ve done it before and it’s really helpful. Rekor definitely does a good job getting plates, pretty amazing sometimes vs what I can do visually even. I think the reminder about the...

Rekor Scout Price Increase to $10/Cam

I’m on the fence now. Over the last couple of years I’ve had 1 instance where a watchlist hit alert actually resulting in me watching the car go and check doors on some cars on the street (not mine though) and 2-3 where it’s made searching for an event a lot easier. Between the power costs for...

Rekor Scout Price Increase to $10/Cam

2 different “webhooks”. Residential licenses don’t have the first type which come directly from the agent and can be used without internet and still fully function (it’s the same agent, just disabled without on-prem license). Second is the webook processor stuff mentioned elsewhere in the forums...

Rekor Scout Price Increase to $10/Cam

It outputs a json object documented on their site to the specified web server but it stops doing it after 14 or 30 days or something. It also has the local queue that you can retrieve stuff from beanstalk but I had issues with that after the trial ended as well...

    Calling any Doorbird owners

I know this thread is a little old, but wanted to add some more info. I recently picked one up from ebay for $50 and got it setup. Works well as a door intercom, especially since it has PoE, ONVIF, and connects to my SIP PBX so I can talk to people on my desk phone. Definitely not worth $400...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

You are awesome. Thanks for doing all his digging! Any chance if you noticed if on-camera motion detection worked in IVMS?

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

RCA doesn’t seem to care about the people that purchased their original doorbell because it was ONVIF compliant (and a Hikvision rebrand). I’m guessing that was a big portion of their sales for the first one. Thanks to the person that trialed the doorbell and provided results above. Here is...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Here ya go.... crappy drawing, but should be accurate.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Thanks for the review of the firmware. I just upgraded mine and it seems to be working okay for now. I didn’t notice the reboot upon doorbell press like you mentioned. It did become unregistered inn hik-connect though. I’ll let it sit a couple more days and see what happens. The NVR didn’t have...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Hikvision firmware 180515 on the Hikvision Europe download portal has this in the release notes: "no audio indication that the home owner is not at home" Also, hoping this solves my issue with the camera stopping reporting motion detection to my NVR: "switching off the alarm push notification...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I ended up using the relay mentioned previously in this thread to detect a doorbell press. Works great. I went a bit further and use a z-wave MimoLite device to allow me to turn the chime on and off. I have a resistor and the chime in parallel. The MimoLite relay is acting as a switch for...

Hikvision NVR Channel Zero Still Image URL

Hello! I have been able to successfully get a still image from my Hikvision NVR for any of the 16 channels, but I can’t seem to get it to work for channel zero. I’m hoping to pipe that channel zero image through a reverse proxy so I can see everything in a single image. Has anyone had any luck...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Does installing the Hikvision firmware on the RCA doorbell cause it to get that "nobody is available" voice message if the "call" isn't answered? I want to use the Hikvision firmware, but I really don't want that message either.
