Good ideas. I had a 4k cam that was having issues at h.265 and setting it to 264 worked, should've done it with this cam too but missed that. I set the bitrate to 8192 and it is at maxed zoom. Thanks

Dumb question but is it possible for cameras to be damaged by them being pointing at other cameras with IR on during night time? I have multiple cameras pointing in the general direction of each other and wasn't sure of any long term issues to this but I assume it's fine.

A Chinook flew by my house yesterday and although I didn't see it, it sounded like a Chinook. Two more flew by today and was able to capture it on the SD49225XA-HNR.

I see. Just trying different things, see what works and doesn't. I tried dropping sharpness down to 4 & 20 and got blurry images. Without messing with sharpness on night profile, license plates are pretty readable as it is with standard settings with 1/1000 shutter so maybe I should just...

Do you keep your sharpness at the same level during day time? Or do you run the night profile at all times? I recently got the IPC-B5442E-Z4E from Andy and I am trying to maximize readability of license plate captures.
