How do you lengthen the time that it stays on a scene before resetting back to home? For example... Person walking a dog and stops for the dog to poo, then continues. The cam will follow them until they stop, then a second or two later it will return home. Can I make it stay in position longer...

I got it working a little better now. Set up intrusion boxes in each preset with IVS. But it doesn't record to disk at all even with record channel box checked. This is with MD and SMD off and only IVS. Is there a way to have it flag the IVS as blue "Intelligent" on playback like my...

I'm trying to figure out mine too. I can get the spotter cam to trigger the PTZ to a preset but the PTZ doesn't do any tracking or zoom with the motion. I tried IVS on the PTZ for each preset for intrusion and also played with motion detect and smart motion detect. Not sure what I'm doing...

Using a 5216 POE NVR

Do these cameras get hot on the white portion of the cam? I'm thinking of mounting mine inside a wooden box with only the rotating portion exposed. Also is there any "how to" links for setting up spotter cams to trigger this one to pan to?

It's a 4208 nvr, 6 4300c cams and 2 4300RZ cams. The Apple has smartPSS on it, and I tried setting up the md on it as well as directly at the nvr. I'll try resetting everything.
