Hello everyone I had a quick question I have a 16 channel poe nvr with 8 4k cameras I was wondering if adding an external poe switch to connect to the nvr will it save any bandwidth or is it the same?

Yes it is Im new to this but I was talking about the interference going in an out and it's even 10x worse at night

Lorex well I had a lorex system that had just purchased and discovered this forum and started reading about the starlight camera so I purchased some of the camera and I read that things work better when you have all the same equipment I was going to change the firmware on the lorex nvr but...

There is a thread on this forum giving you instructions on how to do it it seemed to technical for me so I decided to buy a dahua nvr

I am using a 4k television and I not sure what a sub stream is

Yes lorex sent me a replacement and it still showed the same way I just sent it back I purchased some starlight camera from Andy and the quality didn't improve so I just purchased the dahua 5216 hopefully that solves the problem
