BI, really is the best to use once you get the right settings for your camera. BI has run faultlessly day and night for a couple of years now. I've only tried 2 cameras that I couldn't get to work with it. One of those is now supported (damn I gave that one away LOL). Now that Flash /nest and...
Thanks. I've still not got it running under Ispy or BI, but I did get it working with tinycam pro mobile software, which is a step forward from the MIPC.
I have an FI-366 camera from homdox. The FI-366 is badged up by quite a few other companies including skygenuis, hootoo etc. It uses an app called MIPC (which seems to incorporate a flash player) and has the same built in and accessed via web browser. I'm running the camera via a router with no...
I got a new cheap (yes cheap and nasty) camera which claimed to be Onvif, but BI can't find it. Onvif manager ca't find it eaither. I ran wire shark and the best I can find is a rtmp://192.168.1.5:7010/live/[cami-d]_p0_NASDMNKXBHLN which if I past in to BI gives the address 192.168.1.5:7010. If...
SOLVED: The cameras ran last night without a single dropout. Each motion trigger recorded smoothly, no dropped frames. Thank you Fenderman for the help. I think the 20mb buffer was the key.
Thank for the help. I've increased the buffer and I've also swapped out the router. Set up 2 cameras, leaving the 3rd disabled for the moment. So far no drop outs.
Hard wiring one camera, disabling the second completely and keeping the other on wifi didn't help. Still getting the issues. Further searching the forum got me to check the settings on the low res cameras and they were not set to direct to disc recording so I've changed that to see if it makes...
I've used screen mirroring from my laptop to my Samsung smart tv and it worked well. Main disadvantages were that you can't flick between mirrored and normal tv like you can with HDMI inputs and it has to be instigated from the PC/laptop.
Thanks Fenderman, I thought that might be the issue, I was just hoping it might be something easier to sort. I'm ok with a hammer, screwdriver and cables, but not so good with the drill and hate having to ask anyone to do jobs for me. I've disabled one of the low res cameras and hard wired the...
