How to prevent motion sensor trigger by infra red

Check the motion object detection box then go into EDIT. Play about with the object size, mines set to 67% and seems to work ok.

Blue Iris PTZ custom port doesn't seem to do anything (verified with wireshark)

Watch which firmware you put one of them knocks out the hd feed on rtsp. There are a couple of threads talking about this.

Blue Iris PTZ custom port doesn't seem to do anything (verified with wireshark)

Try going to ptz tab on the BI camera properties and change select "sricam" and if that doesn't work try "Wanscam hw0025".

Blue Iris PTZ custom port doesn't seem to do anything (verified with wireshark)

BI, really is the best to use once you get the right settings for your camera. BI has run faultlessly day and night for a couple of years now. I've only tried 2 cameras that I couldn't get to work with it. One of those is now supported (damn I gave that one away LOL). Now that Flash /nest and...

Can anyone help with rtmp setup

Thanks. I've still not got it running under Ispy or BI, but I did get it working with tinycam pro mobile software, which is a step forward from the MIPC.

Can anyone help with rtmp setup

I have an FI-366 camera from homdox. The FI-366 is badged up by quite a few other companies including skygenuis, hootoo etc. It uses an app called MIPC (which seems to incorporate a flash player) and has the same built in and accessed via web browser. I'm running the camera via a router with no...

    Does BI support Onvif 2.4.2

I got a new cheap (yes cheap and nasty) camera which claimed to be Onvif, but BI can't find it. Onvif manager ca't find it eaither. I ran wire shark and the best I can find is a rtmp://192.168.1.5:7010/live/[cami-d]_p0_NASDMNKXBHLN which if I past in to BI gives the address 192.168.1.5:7010. If...

Frame rate issues and drop outs, mainly night time problems.

SOLVED: The cameras ran last night without a single dropout. Each motion trigger recorded smoothly, no dropped frames. Thank you Fenderman for the help. I think the 20mb buffer was the key.

Frame rate issues and drop outs, mainly night time problems.

Thank for the help. I've increased the buffer and I've also swapped out the router. Set up 2 cameras, leaving the 3rd disabled for the moment. So far no drop outs.

Frame rate issues and drop outs, mainly night time problems.

Hard wiring one camera, disabling the second completely and keeping the other on wifi didn't help. Still getting the issues. Further searching the forum got me to check the settings on the low res cameras and they were not set to direct to disc recording so I've changed that to see if it makes...

    Viewing on a smart tv

I've used screen mirroring from my laptop to my Samsung smart tv and it worked well. Main disadvantages were that you can't flick between mirrored and normal tv like you can with HDMI inputs and it has to be instigated from the PC/laptop.

Frame rate issues and drop outs, mainly night time problems.

Thanks Fenderman, I thought that might be the issue, I was just hoping it might be something easier to sort. I'm ok with a hammer, screwdriver and cables, but not so good with the drill and hate having to ask anyone to do jobs for me. I've disabled one of the low res cameras and hard wired the...

Frame rate issues and drop outs, mainly night time problems.

Hi, I have an issue with night time frame rates. I have three cameras ( 2 x mjpeg 640 x 480 & 1 h.264 1280 x 720). Day time streams are better, occasional frame rate drops but usually steady. However if I run more than one camera at night the frame rates drop from 20/25fps to 2/3 fps with the...

Is it possible to extract the audio from a recording to analyse it?

I was hoping to be able to analyse the audio separately from the video recordings, is this possible? Does anyone know of a way I can extract the audio and save it to either mp3 or .wav?

adding KKmoon 809 to existing set up

I gave up with the KKmoon and purchased a tenvis mini319w which works very well. One of the priorities was to get a small bodies unobtrusive camera and the tenvis fits the bill nicely. I had this up and running in less than 5 mins.

adding KKmoon 809 to existing set up

I think I will give it away. It works fine with it's own software so might be of use to someone :-) It was very cheap. It's the same model as this one...

adding KKmoon 809 to existing set up

I've delved a little deeper and got this info from running wire shark whilst I had the cameras own software running. (192.168.1.86 UDP Source port: 5000 Destination port: 3618 ) can anyone offer any advice?

adding KKmoon 809 to existing set up

Hi, I have a system running 3 DBPower ip cameras and it works beautifully, no problems at all. Now I want to install a new camera I bought to try out, it's a KKmoon 809. It works fine with its own software but can't get it into Blue Iris. The problem I'm having is that I can't find the port it's...
