    Yes, it tracks fine, immediately when something crosses a tripwire for example. When I use PTZ presets manually some of them may take 5 seconds, some of them 11+ seconds and it's not always the same presets.

    Yes, I have similar settings and recording to a SD Card 256g Samsung Pro Plus, U3, V30, 4K (read 180mbs/write 130mbs) I have 4 IVS rules I'm not recording 24/7 to SD card, event driven only. see attached for settings.

    Update: I'm in the process of factory resetting the camera. Already in third hour of starting to get things set back up. The configuration file I saved right before I reset, of course, wouldn't restore (failure?) so I'm setting everything back up. Real PITA but there are worse things in life...

    I don't understand what you mean in the first part "factory terminated cable". Regarding hops, from the Windows pc, the ethernet goes directly to the managed poe switch, then from the same switch a cat 6e cable to the camera.
