    I think it looks like 7&8 and 4&5 may be common looking at the solder? So brown 7&8, green 6, purple 4&5, yellow 3, orange 2 and white 1?

    Ok, bit more.. @mat200 unfortunately no idea how to set up a test rig etc and no multimeter.. so am going to have to try and hook the new rj45 connector to another cameras network cable and see if it works. I saw in a hikvision article something about common cables (looked like the same cable...

    Ok so done some whittling and pin 1 looks white and the rest in order as of pic but I only have 6 wires for 8 pins..

    I can't figure out the wiring for the rj45 connector. Can you help? I have 6 wires, orange, yellow, green, purple, white and brown. Thanks
