I remember having this issue. Have you tried installing the HIK-Connect app? If I remember right, there is an option in that app that specifically lets you turn the indoor mechanical chime on and off.

Update 5.6.5.7 was released last night. I just downgraded back to 5.6.5.6 and the images are 'posting' successfully again.
