A comparison (mounting templates overlayed on each other) and side by side photos would go a LONG way towards selling the new S3 product on Amazon. (While you are at it, put the horizontal field of view in degrees in the Amazon page for the 2.8/3.6/6.0, not everyone wants to calculate the FoV.)...

You are clearly not replying to the OP about 'what does it gain me' in anything you write.
You are stating you don't know where the firmware is. This is the very first request of all three posts.
You state that I should not upgrade until I read it. I cannot read it...
We have 3 people looking for firmware. Your time would be better spent writing an article for the Wiki here on the general subject of firmware since there are none. OK?
Before you jump to yet another conclusion about overheating, please note it it takes a week (or more) to heat up but then...
The 'mansplaining' is unneeded and not appreciated. Your reply is way off-topic. If you want to start a new thread titled 'updates are personal', please feel free...

edit - you see where my Cisco switch can supply 30watts per port, but is only beign asked to supply 15.4Watts, correct?
I have issues with the camera resetting if I change position from the web interface or from BlueIris. The web ui kicks me out and I see 'No Signal' Error80000274d (Failed to connect) in BlueIris
Camera purchased about a week ago, I set it up by reading this thread and worked fine until...
