I gave up on 2.5.4, no matter what I tried it wouldn't go into GPU (CUDA) mode (at least on the dashboard displayed info). Was about to go 2.5.5 then saw this lol Went back to 2.5.1 and it's all ok again so I will give 2.5.5 a go once they get that working.

Thanks truglo for the tip on the delayed service start, it's all working ok now on a reboot. Maybe there should be a change to the BI service when AI is enabled to add the service dependency to the BI service so it can then be a normal auto start but won't do that until the AI is up first...

Thanks for the idea, yes that what I tried to do, full uninstall, delete all remaining folders, full reinstall. I had already moved from 1.6 to 2.0.6 and it just worked fine, should have left it alone lol

Understand but I don't think that's needed any longer (unless you are a lot of BI versions behind), I don't have a file called server.exe and it's all ok. Did you extract all those folders\files that are required which go over the top of the Cuda install ok? I would suggest clearing it all...

I'm running the same versions (working ok) and didn't need to rename the .exe file, maybe renaming it is actually stopping it working now?
