Thanks truglo for the tip on the delayed service start, it's all working ok now on a reboot. Maybe there should be a change to the BI service when AI is enabled to add the service dependency to the BI service so it can then be a normal auto start but won't do that until the AI is up first...

Thanks for the idea, yes that what I tried to do, full uninstall, delete all remaining folders, full reinstall. I had already moved from 1.6 to 2.0.6 and it just worked fine, should have left it alone lol

Popped on to answer the question and it's already been covered in detail :) I have emailed BI support about the suggestion, I expect it will depend on the complexity of such an addition and the extra calculation power which would be needed to recompute the size\distance travelled on detections.

Can you run a GPU freq monitor tool and see if it's dropping it's speed when idle after 5 mins then speeds up after detection for 5 mins before slowing again? Don't think windows will control that it likely GPU config specific. I'll try and do some testing on my 1060 and see if it's doing the...

Fitted my spare 1060 over the weekend, also saw massive improvement in both accuracy and speed, night detections are also more consistent.

I have a spare 970gtx and 1060ti so may have to give those a try as my older i7 takes a bit of a beating running BI and DS if there's a lot of activity.

Measured, designed and printed in UV resistant plastic, hopefully will stop some of the rain landing on the camera lens. Just have to hope the spiders don't like it too much. Probably wont rain for months now lol
