Yes you can go to the cameras web page or once you add the camera to iVMS you can, under device settings, go to remote configuration and then image. In image you will be able to change all sorts of settings like camera name and where its located on the cameras main view.

The url I am using currently to make it work for me is: rtsp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@EXTERNAL-IP:554 Try this becuase if you are getting audio to the camera while you are in iVMS then it should be configured correct. DISCLAIMER: I am also fairly new to IP Cameras, but this is just what worked for me.
