Hello,
I am very interested in the Ultra-AI series and look forward to your review.
Could you answer a few questions?
According to the technical data, the Ultra-AI series can have four substreams instead of two.
1. can you say for which substreams mjpeg is possible as codec?
2. for which...
That's a bit too simple. The night view capabilities depends on the the pixel size and the technology used.
The IPC-HF8835F has 8MP and the night view is much better than on the IPC-HFW8232E-Z.
That doesn't matter, except you want to access the camera from the internet.
Perhaps your used system doesn't supper http-digest-auth. Dahua only accept http-digest-auth, http-basic-auth isn't supported (you remember our conversion on ali? ;) )
Just try the URL with VLC. If it works, the URL...
According to Sony the IMX334 is a 1/1.8" sensor with a resolution of 3952x2320 (9.17 M pixels). The recommended resolution is 3840x2160. Dahua uses this resolution. I think this resolution uses "only" 1/2" of the 1/1.8" sensor.
IPC-HF is always without lens,IPC-HFW is bullet with lens, IPC-HDBW is Dome with lens.
I'm looking forward to see a Dahua Cam with IMX294 as IPC-HDBW. ;)
I've tested it. IMX185 is old but has very big pixels. IMX385 will be better but is very new and not available at the moment.
I've compared Dahua IMX291 to Dahua IMX178. There is no big difference at lowlight. This is because the IMX178 delivers the Image with 14Bit. With 14 Bit you can use WDR...
