When the street lights are on the I can use day time on the cameras, but my council turns the lights off overnight, so I have to use IR. When there is no light at all, there's no picture.

Just to let you all know I fixed the issue with Smart Events not saving on the NVR for this cam, turns out it was my fault. I had set a separate user for the NVR to connect and didn't grant it remote: params permission. Oopsy...
