Wow. I have these same problems on my SD49225T-HN. Really disappointing to find out its a common problem as none of my other Dahua non PTZ cameras have had any problems throughout all the years. I finally pulled it and put the SD49225T-HN a few months ago and have it on my bench trying to figure...
Was wanting to ceiling mount a small inconspicuous PTZ in my office. I have a 15ft U shaped desk with 7x27" monitors. I keep some weather apps up and running that only run in windows that I would like to view from BI from the lake.
Any recommendations? Something that seems to fit the bill...
Also check out the HP Procurve 2910al on ebay, I think I paid $150 for mine and it was in good condition. It runs my 4922 with no issues.
24 GIG ports of POE+, I think the wattage maxes out around 500 on the switch. I have 11 other POE cameras running on it with no problems.
That was my interpretation as well. I have been working on adjusting mine downward to help with the false alerts. In some areas with the 60-100ft trees I've had to go as low as 30%.
I confused. So you set the Reset detector when Object size exceeds: 100%?
Wouldn't that make it more sensitive to lighting changes? I maybe misunderstanding the setting if that's the case, I would have suspected that you would want to make that value smaller to help with false alarms due to...
I figured it out. Had nothing to do with the camera or the cable. Evidently the HP switches come POE on by default, but not POE+. Had to manually configure the port for POE+ settings, works like a charm now. Carry on... :) Thanks for the help!
Thanks. Says 13watts and 20 watts with IR on. Is something wrong with my camera? It keeps logging over current metrics and rebooting. My POE+ switch can deliver up to 33 watts
Need some help on POE+ with this camera. I have a HP Procurve 2910AL-24G POE+ network switch I'm trying to run it on. I'm getting over current counts on the ports I try and connect it to and the camera keeps rebooting over and over again. How many watts does this thing need? Or is something...
Were you able to get to a resolution on finding a good setting for this? I'm having a similar issue. I have been real happy with my settings on motion detection, however I live surrounded by 60-100ft trees and if any wind gets up the trees will move allowing sun to dance around causing lots of...
Are you guys converting the is drives over to SSD and adding WD purple drives? How many SATA ports and extra drive slots are these $500 machines coming with? Almost just thinking about building. Just wish these systems came with a SSD to start with
Thanks for the responses. For a cleaner look I was thinking about mounting them flush and expanding out the holes I have for my existing BNC cameras to stuff the wires in. How big do you think I would need to expand those to 3/4 inch? Really was just making sure for weather purposes I didn't...
