lol, so after I uploaded it, it actually loaded the video not link and it does play sound on google, so its a player issue.

Appreciate your help I uploaded a clip to google drive. these are with original settings with audio encoding as the default G722.1, I can try them all with you and send samples of each. I will try searching for another player and test that.

This is the clip that as set to default in the camera that im trying to get voice out of. other encoding modes from drop down have not worked either though and some had an affect on the video not playing.

The audio is decently being recorded as one can hear it clearly in playback, just not in the downloaded files.

The Lutron dimmers are excellent and even though they use a proprietary protocol, I think its cloud service is here to stay. Its downside as you point out is that you cant add any Z-wave or Zigbee devices to its hub, maybe these frequencies and protocols will be added in future gen hubs.

Also DNS is set to 8.8.8.8 and camera can be viewed remotely, email worked fine as of 3 years ago so it led me to believe it was a firmware issue. updated firmware and still an issue. Also email was working fine 3 yeears ago with DNS set to routers default gateway but changed it to 8..8.8.8 today.
