If this is the only monitor hooked up to your Windows 10 PC, then use Pale Moon browser and that Web interface from the browser should give you all the tools you need to configure you cams. Within the browser interface, you can use Ctrl+ to increase your interface size, and that may help, too.

SmartPSS interface is tiny because of your screen resolution. I have that issue on my 4K monitor, too. SmartPSS is not an app that is works well with Windows 10 on higher resolution screen. Use a monitor 1920x1080 should give you enough screen size for SmartPSS. Use latest version of Pale Moon...

Yup, I have reported this problem in post #118 last year. You can set the IVS rules but they don't work. I have also asked @EMPIRETECANDY to report this issue to Dahua so that they work on a fix. It seems like @EMPIRETECANDY just responded with a "no new firmware" to one of my posts.

Yes, IVS can only be set on channel 1, and Backlight Setting is only available for channel 1 as well. See my post #85 in this thread. I have asked @EMPIRETECANDY for a more recent update of the firmware to see if they have any fixes for these problems.

A dashcam that sends video feed via WiFi to a smart phone or tablet screen would work for you. Check out Blueskysea B1W on Amazon. It has pretty good quality, but it is not supposed to be mounted outside of your RV.
