UPDATE! It worked! Smart Codec was turned on and cameras were set to H265. I went to H264h and turned Smart Codec off and they now pop up within 1 to 2 seconds of switching to full screen. This has been bothering me for months and I kept meaning to post here, but procrastination... looney2ns...

No, the cameras are great. I'm sure there's some software setting somewhere that I'm missing. I'll check the codecs and see what I can find. Thank you!

I have an issue that's been plaguing me for months. I have two of Andy's EmpireTech 4mp cameras that I have set up in my IVMS-4500 app for my iPhone and iPad. I have several Hikvision cameras that I use and have added the EmpireTech cameras as cameras in the client software. Long story short...

Here's the combo I use for spider webs. I can reach the 2nd floor eves without any trouble. Brush Extension Pole (I purchased mine at HD) Sure beats throwing/tossing something up in the air to try and bring the webs down:rolleyes:

I bought one of these after the initial post was made here. Shipping took about a week. I added a 3TB HDD I had in my Eyesurv NVR, formatted and began adding Hik cameras that were automatically located by the NVR on my network. All is well- setup was rather easy. Would buy again...

Maybe try Port 80 on the NVR instead of 8000?

You can rename and tweak all your cameras in the iVMS-4200 Desktop Client. Once you configure the first cam, save the configuration file and then load that same file onto the other cameras (since they're all the same cams). Once the config file is loaded, change the cam's address, name etc...

I have an Ion EyeSurv NVR. I guess I didn't pay any attention to the fact the that IVMS was a Hik app. I've tried several different apps so far and haven't had any luck connecting.

Okay- I tried in IE with the http:// prefix and I'm in! I hadn't previously added that and obviously needed to do so. I'm still unable to access the camera with IVMS-4500 on my iPhone- I get a "Failed to receive data from the device" error. Any ideas? and Thank You!

I have one of the Top-201 IP cameras and am pulling my hair out trying to get it into my viewing software. I've changed the IP address to be static on my Windows-based network. ONVIF Device Manager sees the camera and I get a live view from there. However, I cannot get it to appear in IVMS-4500...
