Dahua 5442 (IPC-T5442TM-AS-3.6mm) - need help for improving night performance

On Profile Day/Night you cannot change the settings. I switched back to Profile "General" and then could select Mode B/W. Now I switched back to Day/Night, it is grayed out again, but on Auto. Let's see. Otherwise I will have to use the script. Thanks

Dahua 5442 (IPC-T5442TM-AS-3.6mm) - need help for improving night performance

Thanks, I will physically adjust the camera. How do I force the cam to stay in BW mode once it switched? I don’t want to have static times, so will have to check if there is a script possibility. I am already having a variable in iobroker, which gives me day/night for my shutters management

IPC-T5442T-ZE IPC-T5442TM-AS IPC-T5842T-ZE SMD 3.0 Smart IR Latest New Firmware From EmpireTech

what I notices with the new firmware: I cannot set 8192kb/s while on 15 frames / 15 i-frames and H.265. The max CBR is then allowed with 7424kb/s. I was under the impression that with the older firmware, this was possible. On H.264 I still can select 15fps with 8192.

Dahua NVRs motion record with scheduled record skips frames

I have the NVR5208 4kS2 (non POE) edition with 5 Dahua 5442 Cams and have noticed this behaviour too. However, I cannot have in sync the settings in each camera. I have as Encoding strategy general. When I switch it, it changes automatically to VBR with 4352kb/s. If I change it there, then my...

    Advice on Dahua Cameras

@garycrist What is a waste on ground? Don't know what you mean? Also with your following posts. @sebastiantombs thanks this is helpful. As the distance from house to fence is less than 4m, the 2.8mm should be really enough.
