That's a pretty old model that I'm not familiar with. Hopefully you won't get the language mismatch error when adding HV cameras. Be careful updating its firmware (or just don't) as you may end up with a Chinese only speaking NVR.- scn101

Yes, on my HV NVR I can setup for 24/7, motion, etc., on a per camera basis. You can control most of the camera's important features through the NVR, like motion sensitivity, area of interest, schedule, etc. The NVR manual is available here...- scn101

NEW 1080P Wifi Video Doorbell!
Well I went ahead and tried the FW on the HV Europe site, "upgrading" from V.1.4.62 Build 171218 to V.1.4.62 Build 180515. By mistake I loaded the 6403 FW first. It worked but then I load the 6003 FW as I think that's what the Nelly NSC-DB1 really is. I'm not sure what the differences are...- scn101

Quick update. I removed my doorbell from my NVR and the GV app is now notifying me. I re-added the doorbell to my hikvision NVR and the notifications continue to work on GV. Go figure. Thanks @RyanODan for the help.- scn101

I'm having the same issue. Using Hik-Connect I can get notifications but after a day or two the doorbell goes "offline" yet my HV NVR and the doorbell's web interface all work fine, the camera is working and sending video. So I switched to Guarding Vision but it doesn't notify me of doorbell...- scn101

I watched this Ring video, Using the Diode Included with Your Ring Video Doorbell , and it does say to install the diode for digital chimes, at least on that model which is the non-Pro model. I'm thinking the diode isn't need (and shouldn't be used) for their Pro model?
