Which app are you talking about, GDMS or IDMSS plus? Just wondering...

Hmm okay, i have noticed there is a difference between accounts on IDMSS plus and GDMS, (this isn't the same cloud account i've noticed) It's so confusing.... wish there would just be 1 app that works.

I have the same problem at the moment, has there been any news EMPIRETECANDY ? I tried both apps, IDMSS plus and GDMS on my new iphone.... sadly none of them works properly on IOS. For me gdmss plus worked perfectly on android, live view, playback, notifications... I also use p2p for connecting...

In my opinion the IDMSS plus apps works the best for me, but sadly i am not able to get push notifications working :( I really hope someone can help me out with this :)

I recently swapped phones, came from android where i used gdmss plus (which worked fine). For some reason on Iphone there is always a feature on both apps that doesn't work. For IDMSS plus i can't get the notifications to work, but they work on DMSS.... On DMSS, for some reason playback won't...

Yeah indeed, i used ftp in the past. But i've noticed performance wise it wasn't up to standards. Now that i'm using NFS protocol, the performance is so much better!

Update: I got it working with SMB... i just used the same folder with the SMB protocol. It works.

So i got 1 step further and got NFS working... It took a long time but i didn't realise the path that OMV used (or maybe it's just NFS in general). It was mounted in /export/nfs... etc So NFS NAS is working right now, has anyone got it working with SMB?

On the wiki i found this: DahuaWiki Is it actually not able to save on a SMB/CIFS share? I've heard smartpss has the ability to setup NFS shares and i would be surprised if they weren't done with SMB. I haven't been able to save footage on my SMB share yet. Not quite sure what i'm doing wrong...

Yeah i was thinking something along those lines. It are files that are saved (so they are not being written to). It's not rly common and haven't seen anything weird in the ftp logs.
