Just an update, the birds made a nest and raised a few chicks. I have put the clips together to produce a follow up video showing the nest each day from the first egg hatching to the time they flew away.
So there is a IR_Cut setting for IR Synchronous Switch or Automatically Switch. It was on IR Synchronous Switch. I have changed it to Automatically Switch. I will see what happens tomorrow when the sun comes up.
