I've been moving and adjusting the settings so I'm not sure on the 1TB mark. It's normally just set for 2 days.
If i look at the NAS, there are no clips on it from just that one camera. All the other camera clips appear to be there. For just this one camera, all clips are staying only on the...
We have a system with 26 cameras. There is a local 3TB drive and a 12TB NAS. I have it set so that NEW footage is record to the local drive. Limits are set to- size: 1000GB, age: 2 days. All of the camera clips are then STORED on the NAS. That has a limit of 9000GB.
My issue is that we...
I had these same issues with the Hikvision Panovu 4 lens camera. I don't remember the model but I think it was the DS-2CD6D54FWD-Z. BI Support never got back with me and I could never find a good solution. BI just never got the stream right. Clarity would go in and out, colors would shift...
I'm looking to purchase and install some new cameras. DS-2CD2765G0-IZS Hikvisions. Has anyone used them? Opinions? I tried a couple of a new Hikvision Panovu model that was horrible in that they kept failing withing just a couple of weeks and they never worked with Blue Iris. All the...
Well, now I need to find a new camera. This one is dead. On reboot, no IR, no ping, nothing. Plug a laptop straight into the Injector and no link at all. This is the second to die in a month. I expect a lot more out of a camera this expensive!
I'm trying and failing miserably at getting the Hikvision DS-2CD6D54FWD-IZHS working in Blue Iris and I'm afraid it may just not work. I'd like a single multi-lens camera capable of getting 270deg of coverage. It will be complimented with License Plate cameras. This Panovu gives me everything...
I've updated the firmware and reset the camera. (Oddly, after the firmware update only 2 of the lenses worked until a second reboot, even in the camera's web interface.) I've tried every combination of CBR and VBR I can think of.
I have found that if I set the profile to Basic then the pixelation goes away. Skipping is still really bad but at least it's something. With the profile set to Basic and the I-Frame interval set to 1 it looks like the skipping goes away as well, but it's obviously an ugly image full of...
I believe the pixelation is an i-frame issue. If I set Frame Rate to 24 and adjust the i-frame the pixelation changes. I've tried 24/24, 24/12, 15/15 as well as other combinations. It only seems to happen if the bitrate is over 512, if that makes a difference.
