Osprey nest camera > PTZ with 4K, not too heavy

Dome is not required. Osprey does not care about cameras. We need the lens cover to be open for the rain to keep it clear (bids occasionally shit on the camera!).

Osprey nest camera > PTZ with 4K, not too heavy

We would like to have a PTZ camera on a Osprey nest. It would be running with solar panel, 12 V, on an island. PTZ-cameras tend to be too heavy. Our installation could accept about 1 kg (about 2- 2,5 lbs) weight, not much more. Any suggestions?

Osprey nest camera (12V- solar) problems

Another problem: we were obliged to visit this camera a couple of times last summer to boot the system. It is on an island... We are trying now to use a remote booting system : Victron Global 520. BUT the fist piece we bought did not cut the power (is has a relay). Well, we got a new one...it...

Osprey nest camera (12V- solar) problems

We are going to have a couple cameras on Osprey nests. We have to use dyn/dns because our (donated) mobile SIM does not have stationary/public IP-adress. We need to save the recorded stream for a couple of days and we have used Angelcam. This has been working fine with Dahua cameras. BUT last...

Here out public web which will be moved to an Osprey nest in April, in Eastern Finland. Just now it is not that windy... Live...

    Audio white noise

Well, I did pu now a better cover, but did not help. I will ask my partner who can manage the camera settings about noise filter. These cameras are up on the tree tops in summer, and it is often windy. When it is calm the sound is OK.

Thank you! Just what I figured out. I already tried to cover it with a piece of hard foam but did not help. Have to find something else (soft foam?). Here the web cam live which i am going to move to an Osprey nest in April. > https://juurusvesi-pohjois-savo.click2stream.com/

    Audio white noise

We have been using (in Finland)several years on Eagle and Osprey nests this camera: DH-IPC-HDW5231R-Z. It has functioned ok but the noise of WIND is disturbing. Just wondered, if I would put something soft on the microphone? But i can't find the microphone location... (is it the smallest...
