We would like to have a PTZ camera on a Osprey nest.
It would be running with solar panel, 12 V, on an island.

PTZ-cameras tend to be too heavy. Our installation could accept about 1 kg (about 2- 2,5 lbs) weight, not much more.

Any suggestions?

Not many cameras under 1kg that are Dahua or Hikvision....
The SD22204UE-GN and SD1A404XB-GNR are both under 1kg but not much optical zoom (4x, 2.8mm-12mm).

You also probably want a dome PTZ so the birds do not see the lens zooming and panning/tilting. A camera lens looks like another animal's eye.

Dome is not required. Osprey does not care about cameras. We need the lens cover to be open for the rain to keep it clear (bids occasionally shit on the camera!).
