Maybe I misread your post a bit but there are still Wiz cameras with the 1/1.8 sensor but it looks like Dahua is modifying other series.

I must agree that this is a game changer for me as I build out my camera setup and not have to think about doing any upgrades to my Blue Iris hardware for a long time to come.
Thanks I downloaded it wow that zoom is quite insane haha. I would never have a need for that at my house but damn would I love to have one to play around with.
If you are trying to connect to the UI3 in your LAN from that IP address is needs to be Local Access section. I think you mis-typed your external IP into that section by mistake.
I believe the official model is IPC-HDW5442TM-AS the link is below is appears to be EOL as the newer Wizmind is the IPC-HDW5442TM-ASE. Hope that helps.

I second @sebastiantombs advice do a little bit of research and start small with a camera or two and build up your system from there. You might think you are getting a deal with a package like this but in the end you will be replacing lots of cameras with money lost. I also personally recommend...
Do you mind explaining how you accomplished I am curious in the future if I want to change which one records as I thought both always recorded and it was only which was viewed that changes.
That is some great footage makes me feel good about working on my LPR setup first and tuning it so I can get evidence like this if needed in the future, fingers crossed I don't have to for myself or my neighbors.
I would to second the use of Sub-streams if you are amenable to the lower quality when viewing all your cams at once. This I have recently incorporated into my system and even if a few cameras it has made a noticeable difference in my overall CPU usage.
Thanks @samplenhold I was able to finally find this setting on the top right of Blue Iris have never went into that setting screen before but I increased it now to 15 frames.
