OK Thanks! Great job on the UI3! In the future, if there are updates, it would be nice to have a customizable drag drop web interface. Having done a lot of programming myself, I know that would be a lot of extra work and could affect performance some.

I tried this both ways and didn't see any noticable difference in Chrome or Firefox. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep experimenting.

OK now I understand why it does that if it is one picture sent. I suppose that saves bandwidth at the expense of flexibility. Is there any explanation of the settings 1:1, 1;2, etc and 1-up, 2-up,etc? I don't see much change with these. If I knew what they are for it might help me understand.

BI 5.3.8.9, using BI3 v138. Is there a way for the camera pictures arrange themselves when the browser window is resized. I have tried several settings in the BI program but haven't found a way for it to work properly. In this case I would want them to be 2 across so the pictures are bigger and...

I also found out the URL for the snapshot changed with the new firmware. Earlier it was /Streaming/channels/1/picture , now it is /ISAPI/Streaming/channels/1/picture

I think I got it working. I ran IE11 in compatibility mode and as administrator. So far I can get to the config. I don't see live video though.

I used wireshark to capture the traffic while loging in. A lot of HTML was exchanged. I was hoping the camera would report an error, but I don't know enough to determine if an error was reported. Any other ideas to try?

FYI - This is the "dark gray" window I was referring to. I hadn't noticed it had the menu up at the top. I also tried clicking on the "Configuration" menu item at the top before it went away but it didn't do anything different. Thought it might be helpful.

Thanks for the responses! When I try to use Firefox it says browser no supported use IE. When I use IE it asks for user and password, then the window goes white, then becomes a dark grey rectangle, then a few seconds later it goes back to the Hikvision login screen. I powered the camera down...
