agree it's consistent w/ internal Si temp....but it's a user option to have it overlayed on the video. I guess I assumed the intent was ambient temp because why would anyone want to overlay an internal component's temp in their video stream?
setting up a pair of new sd1a203Ts. Would like to overlay an outside temp. I enabled it via the setup webpage...and it's running 118degF? Is it reporting sensor internal temp or something? This is just sitting on a desk in my living room and it is definitely not that hot here.
that was definitely the issue.
I now have two cameras setup in BI. PTZ still only works over the web-browser interface (e.g. not through BI) and I don't yet know why....but this is real progress, so thank you.
Thank’s for your reply.
I have been trying the cameras one at a time...I mentioned that in have 2 so it’s clear this isn’t a bad camera problem.

Hello.
Just received 2 sd1A203T-GN cameras from Andy. My first DIY setup. Camera is plugged in (POE) to AUMOX SG105POE that is (for now) wired connected to the ethernet port of a google wifi hub. Win10 desktop is wirelessly connected to the same google wifi router.

" Ensure that you have enabled onvif on the camera" this could be the issue...I haven't done that. I grabbed the IPAddr that both BI and ONVIF DeviceMgr found (they were the same) and tried to open it in a webbrowser (just 2019 XXX Directory: Sex, Porn & Cam Sites...
OCO Pro Dome camera. Oco asserts it's ONVIF compliant. Both BI and 'ONVIF Device Manager' find it during a scan but neither can actually get video from it.
ONVIF Device Mgr error message is 'There is no endpoint listening at <ipaddr>/onvif/device_service that could accept the message. This is...
thanks. that does look like it fits nearly everything I need. I've heard some concerns with dome cameras fogging internally....is that a realistic risk? This one is 2MP - which seems light compared to some other options. Is there an equivalent version with higher resolution. Or is # MP not the...
couldn't find a 'chat' option or more direct way to ask this....
links from the store for cameras seem to go to Amazon, which notes that they're out of stock w/ no idea when they will be back.
Is there something more current?
Hello.
I'm moving from a Lorex NVR to a custom outdoor monitoring setup. Would like to purchase 1-2 cameras first to try them out, but assuming they work well I'll need probably 6 more. considerations:
- will be running BI. must be POE cameras.
- house is in a place where it gets cold...
Hello. I had a functioning Lorex NVR (the costco one). Lorex is pissing me off (killed the mac client, for ex) so I'm moving. Trying to re-use the in-place cameras, cables, etc.
Cameras are Lorex 8005's. They may not be the best things ever, but they work. Lorex webpages suggest they're ONVIF...
