I brought camera inside. Reset it, still nothing on new nvr, works fine on old

i setup the nvr, connected my cameras 1 by 1, only have 4, they are older Dahua IPC-HDW4421MP, got 3 to work, and the 4th one wont work. it gives out an ip 10.1.1.67, shows for a split second, then says network disconnected, failed to find network host. I tried with old nvr and it works fine...

are you using dahuaddns? had same issue seems they shut it down. I had to use open-ip now

I have a 4 ip camera nvr poe setup, all dahua ipc cameras 4mp. Need a new nvr poe. Any advice on which model i should go for, my old one is dahua 4208-8p, seem like its flaking out. Keeps skipping days of recording, time never stays correct. Any help is appreciated

what should be my bit rate? i have set for 4096, is that ok?

any reason why i would lose recording time?, possible hard drive crapping out?

Ok got them back up had to reset thru the camera shorted the 2 pins in camera. Thanks for the help now i gotta setup everything again. Any tips or suggestions? Should i enable upnp?

I think i may have unplugged the cameras and put into different ports. I used the same passwords for all 4, but i used a different password for the nvr itself.

So your saying that the nvr should also be on the same subnet as the cameras? My router is 192.168.1.1, if i put the nvr to 10.1.1 will it work?

Yes they all have ip 10.1.1.65-68 and the nvr has 192.168.1.17. I tried the admin default no luck
