Can't figure out face detection on IPC-HDW5231R-ZE

The motion detection works if that's what you're asking. I don't neccesarily need face recognition but person/body recgognition would be nice.

Tried adding second camera and now I'm all screwed up.

I was able to change the IP of the second camera and can now logon to them seperatly but I was hoping to have one login for both but don't know how to set that up. Also, it appears the first cameras firware upgraded somehow.

Tried adding second camera and now I'm all screwed up.

I forgot to change the ip address initally and when attempting to change the address afterthe fact, it won't take. I might try the reset.

I recetnly attempted to add a second Dahua camera and I'm botched it up big time. I opened the config tool, saw the new camera listed, selected it and clicked initilaize. After that it asked me to create a new password, I did that and now when logging into either camera I get the error message...

I have opened up the camera and didn't see any reset button nor did I find any documentation as to where it may be. I used the DMSS app to scan the bar code and reset the password. I'm now able to login and view my camera but still confused as to how to modify the ip using the directions...

No longer able to find device with new router

There's just one camera and it plugged into a new router (no switch). When I try to enter the address directly it goes nowhere, when I try to change the ip in the config tool it gives me an error that reads, Config result- Password error.

No longer able to find device with new router

The camera's IP address was reset to the default address. In the configuration tool when attempting to connect to the camera via the IE icon, it doesn't connect.

No longer able to find device with new router

Consolidated Communications, they provided me with a Netgear R6300 and with this router I never was able to see my camera. I switched to a Netgear TP Link Archer C50 and was able to see my camera again. The only problem now is trying to modify my IP.

No longer able to find device with new router

No, just got a new router from the ISP. Turns out it looks like the router was the issue, I tried a old router and now I can see my device but now I'm having problems modifying the ip. When I try to do so it says password error. I reset the password in the settings but get the same result.
