Hello!
What do K and Q in DS-7608NI-K1-8P and DS-7608NI-Q1-8P mean?
Are there any major differences between them?
I noticed only "Decoding Capability: 5 vs 4 @1080p"

I think I've found the problem.
WTH is this?
I don't remember seeing this page at all not say changing anything on it.
Last month I have updated firmware but emails worked after that. And then they suddenly stopped coming.

catcamstar,
I had emails for face detection. They stopped too.
icecoffee,
I have it (please see on my screenshot in message above). I always had it set, MD emails were very important to me.
tigerwillow1,
I'm using plain video detection, not IVS. There are no rules for it (I suppose).
I didn't change much about MD. I'm still receiving mobile push notifications. But I can't make emails work again. Have rebooted NVR of course.
Does Gmail work for you in few recent days?
Hello!
Since May 31st Dahua NVR has stopped sending motion detection emails to my gmail. But it can successfully send Test email. Also I can access it with K-9 mail client.
I just wonder is it me or gmail? My NVR configuration looks OK to me...
Tried ports 465 and 587. Both pass test mail from...
catcamstar,
thanks for reply!
My idea was:
Router--->NVR builtin PoE switch----> (50meters 100Mbps)------> PoE switch------> Cam1, cam2, cam3.
And with that update the only option left will be to connect external switch to router. I wanted to keep cameras hidden in NVR's subnetwork...
Hello!
I have a Dahua NVR4116-8P-4KS2.
Just have checked for firmware updates and for new version it says among others:
"3.PoE port is limited to 10Mbps mode, which increases the transmission distance."
Did anyone update lately?
Can you check please Is there an option to choose between 100Mbps...
I'm buying NVR4116-8P-4KS2 next week and will compare hardware with my current NVR4104-P-4KS2.
My best guess is they share the same CPU/SoC and maybe one or two RAM chips will be missing.
Guys, I really appreciate all you replies.
I'm feeling like a newbie right now: specs clearly state " IP Camera Input: 4/8 Channel"
Same time I still think I'm a bit ripped off by Dahua: device is capable of processing of 16 Mpixels of input data (2ch@4K) and I'm using much less than this.
Thanks for replies..
OICU2,
but I remember there are NVRs with only WAN input and don't have built-in switch. They should be able to process any amount of cameras until their processing resources are depleted, shouldn't they?
Ckb3,
wait are you comparing fixing connector to buying new NVR?
Are...
