Wiring up the Amcrest AD410, with a mechanical chime (D117)

If you go to the datasheet of the camera, the power input is AC16V~AC24V, DC12V~DC24V. The troubleshooting Faq is normally simplified, check out the official Datasheet link: The transformer I've used is my use case, if you got something better locally than bravo you. Yeah, being in the UK we...

Wiring up the Amcrest AD410, with a mechanical chime (D117)

Yup, will be looking forward to this new year :D. To help with your issue, yes you'll need the relay to ping the mechanical door chime, cause the voltage is different. The mechanical door chime is 12V and the Amcrest is 24V, the Amcrest will send a pulse to the relay to activate the chime.

Wiring up the Amcrest AD410, with a mechanical chime (D117)

Worked fine all this time, running 24/7. Much better user experience than my previous doorbell cam, highly recommended. Though I haven't personally checked the volt output, maybe you getting worried over different brands out there that are faulty.

Wiring up the Amcrest AD410, with a mechanical chime (D117)

Made a mistake with the Relay connection, 7 is Live and 8 is Neutral. The chime kit is needed to avoid triggering the Relay Update This wiring works, I've manage to get the doorbell and the chime working. Chime can only work when going through the AD410 settings, to enable mechanical chime...

Wiring up the Amcrest AD410, with a mechanical chime (D117)

Hi all, My doorbell should be arriving soon from the US, I wanted to wire up the doorbell with a DIN Transformer (VEMER VN319000) that can power both the doorbell using 24V and the chime with 12V. List: VEMER VN319000 12-24V 30VA Transformer Link Honeywell Wired Doorbell D117 12V Link Taiss/AC...

Does the Amcrest AD410 take 24V DC?

Currently looking for a Din Rail transformer that would meet the AD410 power requirement of 30VA in 230V Input voltage. So far I've found a slightly powerful 24V AC 30VA: vemer TMC 30/24 VN319000 Is there a transformer that is 16V AC 30VA?

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

In the end, I'm getting a full refund for the doorbell. The in-door chime doesn't register the doorbell ring on the outside, even after restarting the chime regularly. The chime will continue to show the blue light without you knowing there is a problem with the doorbell connection. I'm back in...

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

I've finally got round to installing the Ezviz DB2 Doorbell, the included screws doesn't really work with the angled mounts. You must find countersunk screws that sit flush within the mount, otherwise you'll won't be able to seat the doorbell properly. Lucky for me I've found some screws with...

Best doorbell camera on the market?

Currently in the same boat, I've just pre-ordered the EZVIZ DB2. Has PIR and Smart AI detection, Chime and battery or wired solution. But they mention that RTSP isn't supported, which I think is odd. You can use RTSP in home assistance, and use the mobile app for history. The good thing about...

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

Got some answers about the DB2 and DB2 Pro, it seems they do provide a hardwiring kit with the doorbell. But they state it does not have ONVIF or RTSP, which would make it very hard to use with your own kit. Does the previous doorbell has RTSP feature? The chime seems to be directly linked, so...

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

The Amcrest's AD410 model seems to be out of stock from Amazon, so I'm not too sure how much it cost. https://www.amazon.com/Amcrest-Doorbell-Detection-Weatherproof-Wide-Angle/dp/B091KMT9GB Currently you can reserve the EZVIZ DB2 here at £109.99, I like that the microsd card is located in the...

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

Just checked that model, it seems there is no official vendors in the UK that sells it so you have to import it. Has ONVIF and RTSP so that's a good start, it also include brackets at different angles just like the DB2. Though there is no chime with it, and it cost more than £110 for importing...

EZVIZ Releasing New Doorbells DB2 and DB2 Pro

While I do preferred wired, I got no way to feed an Ethernet. There isn't a cheap alternative EZVIZ DB2 with a chime for £110 right now. So my question would be what's better for £110? The only thing could be the Hikvision Intercom DS-KV6113-WPE1(B). The (B) should have the ability to use the...
