Cam time sync does not seem to work. I forgot to enable DST on my NVR but I do have it enabled on my cameras, and the time in NVR was 1h before timestamp I see on the live footage

I bought a laview nvr for ~$60 and converted to hik using serial cable.

That's because you got it from Andy who sells gray market, probably no logo too. Who knows if the quality if the same and obviously no warranty or support.
