I received the replacement PCB, just changed it now and all is working again :)

The new PCB has a different layout to the old and has a micro SD card reader built in (old one had separate board connected via ribbon cable). However after a bit of cable management everything fit ok.

Serial number on the board is HS07130400V1.4 the old one was 1.1 so it seems liked the board has been updated?

I wonder if the heat sink on the processor is a problem. I had one that failed after a few months and upon taking it apart I was disappointed in the poor thermal contact that little pink rubber attempts to make with the housing. I am curious if your zoom works OK? I replaced mine with a newer board and everything worked but the zoom, is just goes in and out of focus.

If Alastairstevenson is offering to repair you should take advantage of that offer as he is a top notch contributor. I got mine back last week and hope to put it back together this weekend, again thanks for the fix.

Could you share the contact info? I have one of these that has the exact V1.1 board and would like to try a v1.4 like yours and see if it can be resurrected.
