I bought a new camera, plugged it in, set it up in Blue Iris, but because I wasn't going to immediately install it, I disabled it in the camera properties window for that camera.
Now I want to bring it back, but I can't find a way to enable it. I don't see anything in the Options section, and I can't get to that camera's properties because there's no image.

I didn't find it in the BI help, but I'm sure it is there. :) I did search BI help, but I have a wireless keyboard, and the BI computer is in a closet, but not that far away. Range of the keyboard is terrible, so it was a game of move toward the closet to search BI help item, then walk back over to the monitor to read topic. Repeat, repeat, repeat. LOL. Needless to say, I ordered a USB extension cable so the keyboard dongle will be near the monitor.

How do you do it exactly? I've read the BI help file and can't find an answer. I have been trying for 30 mins. I disabled a camera and now I can't find how to enable again :(

His instructions did not work and do not match up His instructions did not work and do not match up otherwise I would not be asking again :) There is an option to show hidden cameras but it does not reappear when I click that

Then you deleted it or moved it to desktop view...many people ask questions already answered

Another easy way to find a disabled camera. Click on "Blue Iris Status", select "Cameras" tab. All cameras will be listed there, even disabled ones. Right click on the camera IP and the camera setup page will popup. You can then enable the camera, or make changes.

Thank you John, that solved my issue. The camera wasn't deleted. The instructions above must be profile a different iteration of the software bc they didn't work/match up. Thanks again!

the instructions above have worked and still work for every single version of BI since hide disabled cameras was implemented.
You clicked on show hidden cameras instead of unchecking hide disabled cameras as post 2 clearly explains.

Ooops, you are always right! I apologize. I really didn't make the connection. I was trying hard. I am using Teamviewer on Mac, when you right click with the control key in Mac it doesn't translate properly, this each time I right clicked it didn't do anything. Thus, I could not find a window that allowed me to "hide disabled cameras". Instead, I kept seeing "show hidden cameras", thus I didn't think the instructions matched up. Sorry to bother you guys :( not my intention. I am also doing this over a very fuzzy team viewer screen with slow internet, #isuck

I read and tried what was mentioned in this post a bunch of times. Fenderman really made me feel stupid because it seemed like I was missing something obvious. I have concluded that either I am stupid or something changed. I am not getting the same options in my pop-up that have been shown in other screenshots in this thread. I am on BI (5.8.0.16). The right click menu no longer offers the option/checkbox to "hide disabled cameras" The only way I could find to accomplish this was with what hltljohn said "Another easy way to find a disabled camera. Things have changed...this thread 6 years old and predates blue iris 5. At some point in BI 5 there was a change made to how to adjust the layout. There is now an edit layout button on top.
See "screen layout and frames" section of the help file...
