Hi,

As the title suggests, can anyone see from the screenshots why my files will not move?

Thank You

If would help if you would post screenshots instead of BI 'Options', 'Clips and Archiving' of the 'New' and the 'Stored' folders.

what about your alerts folder. you have overallocated space.
You also need to provide more than 2gb of storage space on C or just simply write to the nas in the first place. If you are using combine and cut your files themselves will be larger than 2gb. always uncheck limit clip age.

Hi,

Sorry I have only just installed, but my Alerts folder is set the same as New

I cannot understand how I am over-allocating? this is on a running on a VM with 20GB ish free I don't understand how I am -1.93TB in deficit?

I do not understand what you mean by combine and cut? the clips are approximately 2GB each before BI starts another file

I want the files moved to storage after 12 hours so why would I uncheck the limit clip age?

I appreciate your time and patience as I am a noob to all this.

Perhaps the reason nothing is moving is because I have just found that BI does not like UNC Paths? I have tried recording directly to a UNC Path \\UNRAIDSERVER2\blueiris\new and although Windows is happy to view it and write to it BI does not seem to like it? I have tried mapping the path but BI does not show mapped drive letters?

In your Clips and archiving configuration you are moving files in the New folder to the Stored folder and then moving files in the Stored folder to the Stored folder. I don't know how Blue Iris handles this looping (moving Stored to Stored) but that should be corrected in any case. Did you want to Delete the Stored files when they expire?

See nas in help file...
You also need more space in new or record direct to nas ..vm is asking for trouble, buy a 100 dollar PC
Storage should be limited by available space not days

Just to update, everything is working perfectly now, yesterday I modified the BI service to be run as the local user and now everything is running as I expected it to in the first place.

I have an HP Microserver upgraded with an i5 CPU running unRAID with pfSense and UniFi and the Windows 10VM running BI all running smooth with 15-18% CPU usage, my clips/alerts are going to the SSD on the Microserver and then being moved to the array on the Microserver after 12 hours.

Many thanks for everyones help, the issue was basically the BI Service running without access to the unRAID array.
