Hi, I am trying to link Tinycam Pro and the Lorex 4k NVR LNB8008C and the 6 cameras linked.
I got the Tinycam Pro linked to the Lorex NVR, however I can view only one camera connected to Channel #1 out of the total 8 channels. I'm not so tech savy, but I tried to find the ip addresses for the other three cameras connected to channels 2, 3 and 4.
I used Network Scan to find the ip addresses. It only listed the ip address for the NVR which when used displays only the camera channel 1.
The 8 channels are listed as private protocol ports (I don't even know what it means) and I guess therefore the ip address is not available.
I would like to use Tinycam Pro as my VMS on my android phone - so much better than the Lorex app - it has so many more useful features!
I am wondering if a 8 port poe switch would solve the problem - - > connected in the following configuration
Camera(s) >> poe >> NVR

Thank you.

You dont need the cameras ip, you wont be able to connect to them..simply change the channel number and use the NVR ip..the NVR will stream to your phone.
Tinycam cannot be used to play recorded video...big downside.

Thank you Fenderman.
I tried it and it worked out perfectly. So simple but I completely overlooked it.
Thanks again.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I'm not able to get Tinycam to work with a Lorex NVR. I can connect remotely to the NVR via PC and the Flir app works on IOS. The Flir app does not work for Android. The NVR is set to h265. Do I need to change the settings in the NVR? In the remote channel, they are all set to 1. This seems pretty basic so I'm a little frustrated that I can't get it to work. Thanks

There is a tinycam section of the forum where the developer @alexvas responds to issues.

Hello dear friend,

I too was stuck and frustrated. Actually, the auto-scan method worked for me but it forced subtype=0, which was my main 4k stream and my Firestick simply could not handle it. So I wanted to instead use the subtype=1, which is the substream, which still isn't greatly handled by the Firestick but at least it works to an extent. So instead of auto-scan, I just chose "General" and used the following settings:

Protocol: RTSP over TCP
Secure Connection: Yes
Advanced info (this is the biggest key is entering in this url correctly):

rtsp:/xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:zzz/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1

where the xxx's represent your NVR IP address and the zzz represent the port chosen, in my case it's 554. Then go through for each of your cameras and just change the channel number. But beware, if you do "Copy" in Tinycam, actually not much gets copied besides the name. You must choose the correct channel number, and then go back into the URL and change it to above, as well as change the protocol from HTTP to the RTSP. So it was tedious adding 9 cameras, but it worked.

Best of luck.
