Though I fear losing my MAGA membership, things aren’t feeling right.
I don't think MAGA has institutional control and that includes the House/Senate with all it's RINOs. So many people think it's easy to drain the swamp. As I said before, the swamp will fight back and MAGA has the Kraken by the tail not the throat. That's a big critter. Has Thomas Massie proposed a budget? I don't know as I don't follow him.The current "spending plan" involves Zero change from 2024. Including funding the very same NGOs that Musk just exposed and USAID.
And its not just the lack of patience, its the turning of attention, the deliberate change of focus that is quite visible.
If the plan is simply to take our minds off of the things we all voted for, and indeed up to and including the confirmation process, because they need more time, OK I get that. Indictments take time. But we're seeing this rather sudden change of stated priorities that makes me uncomfortable.
GDI, sick of criminals getting away with this shit. Maybe one day these terrorist will be dealt with severely.More from our Republicans, was more time needed to destroy evidence?
"This probably won’t surprise anyone, but the spineless GOP is once again slow-walking an investigation they pretended to care about."
"Rep Loudermilk told us that the J6 committee got rid of all the video depositions before Republicans were about to be sworn in."

Hey GOP, your foot-dragging on investigating the J6 Committee won't be tolerated... - Revolver News

I saw this post on another forum, and it got a lot of agreements.
"This country is so fucked up i dont know if its fixable.....any type of pain will move the electorate to throw conservatives out of power....this countries citizens lack the character to weather what's needed to fix things."
I agree that I have a problem with Trump attacking someone who is on his side of the fiscal conservative issues. Something tells me there is past history between them and it's simply not on the issue of budget cuts. Wish we had an opportunity to ask him specifically why he has a beef with Massie. And, I wish Massie/Trump would have a meeting about this issue before either gets nasty with each other. I'd like for Trump to call him into his office and ask him for a plan to get the budget under control that involves the reality of where we are 6 weeks in.While I can give the Trump Admin a pass for it being early for indictments (and it being passed the day he said they'd release JFK etc files), I can't give it and the other 533 Congress critters a pass (one other is siding with Massie), and I can't condone Trump's child like behavior of throwing what is otherwise a great and dedicated and well liked Representative overboard because he is sticking to the same principles on CR's that he has for a long time.
Its not like Massie dreamed this up for this vote. We were told we were cutting fraud and waste, and we're not.
Yes! SPEAKING to each other instead of trading barbs would be a whole lot more productive towards the overall goals.I agree that I have a problem with Trump attacking someone who is on his side of the fiscal conservative issues.
