US Elections (& Politics) :)

While I can give the Trump Admin a pass for it being early for indictments (and it being passed the day he said they'd release JFK etc files), I can't give it and the other 533 Congress critters a pass (one other is siding with Massie), and I can't condone Trump's child like behavior of throwing what is otherwise a great and dedicated and well liked Representative overboard because he is sticking to the same principles on CR's that he has for a long time.

Its not like Massie dreamed this up for this vote. We were told we were cutting fraud and waste, and we're not.
I agree that I have a problem with Trump attacking someone who is on his side of the fiscal conservative issues. Something tells me there is past history between them and it's simply not on the issue of budget cuts. Wish we had an opportunity to ask him specifically why he has a beef with Massie. And, I wish Massie/Trump would have a meeting about this issue before either gets nasty with each other. I'd like for Trump to call him into his office and ask him for a plan to get the budget under control that involves the reality of where we are 6 weeks in.

Yes! SPEAKING to each other instead of trading barbs would be a whole lot more productive towards the overall goals.

I had a deep feeling that we would see progress stall out as the swamp gets more organized after the full-speed-ahead start to this administration. THEY set this pace, and put an expectation that it continues. I hope Trump has a strategy to start picking off the key people and issues that stand in the way and keep pushing forward.
I think Patel and Bondi are realizing how embedded the bullshit is in those organizations.
In Congress, That continuing resolution is an opportune time to put MY money where their rhetoric is at.
Johnson and Thune need to start bringing bills to the floor that CODIFY the EO's in terms of spending and organization/management of departments.
MAKE IT FUCKING ILLEGAL TO HAVE TAXPAYER DOLLARS END UP IN POLITICALLY-MOTIVATED NGO'S WITH AN AGENDA THAT IS NOT HELPFUL TO OUR COUNTRY.

For 2028 I would vote for Massie over JD. He is the only person who isn't bought and paid for. The Israel lobby hates Massie probably more than the squad members.

Even Elon and Vivek fear the Israel lobby. Elon had to do a apology tour by visiting Auschwitz and Israel.

Vivek said to Tucker he hit the third rail when he called for cutting aid to Israel early in the primary. As a person who followed Vivek primary closely, I can say this was the only topic that he had to change his message or risk being cancelled.

Trump to fears the Israel lobby.

We need to get rid of lobbyists.

Until we see people arrested, it is all talk.

I see sash cord and duct tape, the only thing missing to make this a perfect paper mill repair is a can of WD 40.
Wrong! It needs some stickers to assist the duct tape.

The libtard media focuses on telling us only the US Markets are taking a dip.

They could still pull a rabbit out of their hat, but basically they (Trump and Republicans) are saying “just pass this bill and we promise we’ll cut spending in September.”

Except by then they’ll be ramping up for midterms. Congress only cares about one thing: getting reelected, and nobody cuts budgets right before elections.
As I’ve said ad nauseam Congress IS the problem and they no longer care if you know because THEY know you’ll forget in 6 months.

But I’m resigned to it now. Let em print and spend, the whole DOGE thing won’t amount to anything as Congress will never cut spending.

* I suspect we’ll see something on one of the juicy bright shiny issues with no longer term benefits in the coming days to change the narrative, like JFK or even some Epstein arrests. (Nothing on the real puppet masters)

I’m at the point where I’m fine regardless of what happens. Fuck em

Here's an example of how the press convinces uninformed people that conservatives are more violent than liberals:

"...an anonymous agent has publicly warned that the domestic counter-terrorism strategy could switch from inquiries against the hyper-violent far right to leftwing protest movements."

Just little seeds planted into unformed minds. Burning down cities doesn't qualify as violence to them, and opposing the left's violence is "persecution".

Fears mount over Kash Patel’s use of FBI to persecute leftwing protest groups
