I’m not seeing anyone go to jail or $ being returned anywhere, (aside from a small token from Florida) just that it was “discovered”.
The levels of fraud and abuse are so extensive that I don’t believe it’s possible to fix.
So far I see DOGE findings to be nothing more than primarily a fresh set of talking points for corrupt politicians to use for their next reelection campaign. They love this stuff.
Corrupt politician in yr 2036:
“ Look at all this fraud and abuse we found in department _____ . If we could just stop a portion of this we could feed hungry _____ (latest protected class) children and save countless lives (insert picture of crying toddler) Vote for me and together we’ll stamp out this scourge and at the same time save Social Security once and for all!”
