You have to turn that black base so the opening is pointing the way you want to point the camera

Then it will point any direction 90 degrees (well maybe 85 due to the hood)

And loosen the big ass nut to twist the camera on its center

I can't lower them any further. On the other side, I currently have a camera pointing down to the garage. However, a tioc pro and a bullet will soon be installed there.

Thread 'EmpireTech Item Name Adding,important'

Hey guys

In order to make our client know easier for the product we sell, will use the Item name instead of Model Name on the amazon list for some cams we sell currently. Camera function/working no change.
So each camera will have a product name and a model No.
IPC-T5442T-ZE model Name, item name is IPC-T54IR-ZE.

IPC(IP Camera)
T(Turret)
5(5 series)
4(4mp)
IR(Infrared Radiation ，Camera illumination way)
Z(Motirized lens)
E(ePOE/POE)
A =Audio
S means SD card.

I'm retired, but will give my sugestions on what I may use in certain situations.

This does hvave to do with a trhread i started about a location with many cameras. about 60. They want the outside cameras replaced 1st. All are coax. (the outside cams) I have t o go back and check each NVR, XVR, DVR that are all different. I told the owner i'd worku up a proposal.

The so i used to contract with would not do anything but set up a 128 nvr and replace all cameras. The owner said he can't get anyone to even show up.

I kinda understand why if he just wants to piece together cheap cams.

I'll update my 1st thread.

Gonna look at a business in a day or two but from what i was told on the phone 60 cameras are there now with a combination of coax and network. I'm not really interested (now that I'm retired) but my 1st thought was to pull all network cables. May could use the old coax as pull string or not. I'll know more when i see the place. The owner isn't very tech savy so.....

I don't mind looking over the place as it's not to far from where i live. His security sys is with a friend of mine. Gonna meet with his IT guy when we both have a chance.
