You may have created a drain hole for water getting that area of the roof/soffit. try relocating the whole mess, just a few inches away from the drilled hole, and put caulk around the wire and the hole. and see if the problem stops.

I’ve found when you get “experts” involved it usually costs a lot more. Dont get me wrong, I hired a pro elec contractor to set the service and install the box with an outlet. From there I didn’t need help figuring out what to put in the box or how to wire/configure ethernet or low voltage stuff.

Have you selected Line In vs Mic In on the camera? Make that change through the cameras web interface NOT through the NVR. Ensure you use Internet Explorer to access and to make the change.
