    DHCP or static?

The range or speed or ??? I have 1.0 Gig fiber and we stream 4K video over its 5Ghz to a TV, not a hitch. Even though the Netgear is only 12 feet away from the TV it's also hitting a Reolink doorbell through solid brick about 3 feet away and again, no issues.

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

This 3D printer artist incorporated a hole in his rain shroud where you'd insert a screw to block easy access to the latch hole. It wouldn't prevent removal but it could slow them down a bit, especially if you screwed in a Torx fastener with pin.

Reolink cameras are garbage and their reddit moderators are unprofessional trunk slammers

...vehicle detection? I don't want to be woken up at 3:00 AM in the morning because a fly flew in the view or a rat was running around. The reolink analytics suppringly are good for what you pay for, but the trade off is that you have to use their app which is bloated with ads and stupid pop...

Latest Blue Iris 5 and Onvif Profile T

I was looking for a bullet camera for the front door with AI that lights up LED's on being triggered. And a dual camera (Reolink Duo3 type) floodlight style camera. That work with 2 way talk on BI. I'm a simple guy with simple needs. :0)

I appreciate that input. I am able to use one way audio and the quality is maybe a little better than walkie talkie. But that quality would be fine to tell the delivery driver to leave the items at the door and to yell at the kids to get off the lawn. :0) My front door is enclosed and the...

Latest Blue Iris 5 and Onvif Profile T

Audio doesn't follow a ONVIF standard and two way talk with cameras is mostly like walkie talkie. Best to go with a doorbell camera designed for two-way. A favorite here is the Reolink doorbell thst works with BI, but that is the only device recommended by reolink.

    Cameras recording too late

He mentions the camera is a reolink and they are notorious for making the iframe whatever they want. We have seen people post their BI camera status page where the KEY is 0.10 which means if an object is in and out of the field of view in under 10 seconds, it could be missed.

I was about to choose Reolink cameras, but reading you I already understood that it would be the first mistake, and perhaps not the only one. So I decided to register and ask...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

One would think that changing the RF carrier would result in a hardware revision number change, but not all companies do it right. UniFi stubbornly insists on calling 5 different products by the same name, even though they can be vastly different creatures.
