It's a messy hack emulating the web interface with some Python code. It would not be intuitive for the average user to set up. So let's hope Dahua comes through with changes to the HTTP API.

LOL - yeah if you use the PTZ hack for sunrise/sunset you need to account for that in the PTZ presets. Each camera preset is independent of one another, so it will have no impact on your LPR camera and will switch as you have set that camera up.
